The Impulse 3D Smith Machine is an evolution of the standard Smith Machine. The 3D Smith Machine allows for the bar to move in all planes (up, down, backwards and forwards), while still providing the safety features found on a standard Smith Machine.

The Impulse IT7 3D Smith Machine is a great development of a traditional Smith Machine.

Eliminating the guided backwards and forwards restraints increases the number of exercises that can be perfomed, such as barbell lunges and power cleans. This increases the functionality of the 3D Smith Machine while still retaining the spotter catchers for added safety.

The Impulse 3D Smith Machine is compatible with Olympic weight plates only (2 inch diameter hole). Weights are not included with the machine.
